The Roles of an Agile Sports Team
The key members of the Agile Sports Framework™ are the lead analyst, coaches, players, and the Agile Sports Consultant. Secondary roles include the owner, architect, General Manager, front office, scouts, event staff, fans and other stakeholders. Players are self-organizing and versatile (cover a wide range of skill sets and attributes). Self-organizing teams determine the best way to accomplish their goals, with direction from the coaching staff. The continuous improvement model in Agile Sports is designed to maximize value, performance and synergy. In Agile Sports teams execute their plans and improve performance incrementally. This allows them to evaluate (inspect) and make adjustments (adapt) frequently, and increase their chances of staying on track and meeting team objectives. The Agile Sports Analytics Application, developed by Victor Holman, supports the roles that drive Agile Sports.
